Workshop Format
Pretty Purses Workshops can take many forms, including high tea parties, storytelling circles, book club meetings and women's empowerment events. Regardless of the format, each workshop is designed to create a welcoming environment where women can safely explore experiences, emotions and challenges that are often unique to womanhood.

While meaningful reflection is at the heart of every workshop, participants should also come prepared to laugh and enjoy themselves. We believe that personal growth does not always have to be heavy. It can also be joyful in the company of other supportive women.
What To Keep In Mind

If you want to curate your own workshop, here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Limit the number of participants to 20 so that everyone has an opportunity to engage and no one fades into the background.
  • Plan for three to four hours. Women love to talk, and meaningful conversations deserve the time to unfold naturally.
    Invite a diverse group of women.
  • Different perspectives often lead to richer discussions and deeper insights.
  • Schedule your workshop at least two weeks in advance to allow adequate time for planning and coordination.
  • Workshops can be conducted any day except Saturday, provided at least two weeks' notice is given.
  • If you provide the venue, refreshments, and prizes, the only requirement is the purchase of one copy of Pretty Purses with Messy Contents for each participant.
  • There is no workshop facilitation fee unless travel outside of New Providence is required.

Pretty Purses workshops are designed for women’s groups, ministries, sororities, teen groups, close friend circles and other customized group settings seeking meaningful conversation, reflection and growth.

2. How many people can attend a workshop?

Workshops are designed for groups of 5 to 20 participants.

3. How long is each workshop?

Each workshop is structured as a 3 to 4 hour experience.

4. How far in advance should a workshop be booked?

Workshops should be booked at least two weeks in advance.

5. Can the workshop be customized for our group?

Yes. Each workshop can be tailored to the needs, age group, setting and goals of the participants.
